Arthur J. Vouté

 

(1934 – 2020)

Arthur J. Vouté, was a distinguished trial lawyer in the New York metro area for over 50 years, and was one of the founding partners of Mead, Dore & Vouté, which later evolved and grew into the present day firm of Vouté, Lohrfink, McAndrew, Meisner & Roberts, LLP.

Arthur, was an Emeritus Fellow in the American Academy of Trial Lawyers, received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and graduated from Fordham Law School in New York City in 1959.

Arthur spent the majority of his long and illustrious career concentrating on trying civil jury cases in all counties in the 9th Judicial District in New York State, mainly in Westchester County but also in Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam counties as well as New York City primarily in Manhattan and the Bronx.

Born in 1934 in Yonkers, New York, Arthur grew up in Riverdale, NY.  In 1965, he married Rosanne O’Neill.  He and Rosanne had 3 children and 12 grandchildren.  Arthur had a life-long love affair with outdoor handball, and believed playing handball was a major factor in contributing to the endurance and quick decisiveness he needed as an accomplished litigator.
