David Javer joined VLMMR as a partner in 2017. An experienced medical malpractice litigator, David handles all aspects of the malpractice case from inception to trial. He regularly handles high exposure medical malpractice cases, involving individual physicians, practice groups, hospitals and healthcare systems in a wide range of medical specialties, including ob/gyn, neurology, oncology, ED practice, radiology, orthopedics, internal medicine, general surgery and others. David also has represented clients in health care related administrative and disciplinary proceedings. In addition, David has handled general liability and product liability matters through trial.
Before joining VLMMR, David was a Senior Associate for the previous ten years at a large well regarded NYC based malpractice defense firm.
David is a 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a 2000 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University. He has been admitted to the New York Bar in good standing since 2001. David is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
David resides with his wife and two young children in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. He is a passionate sports fan, rooting on his beloved Wisconsin Badgers, New York Giants and Knicks.
