Zahida Ramesar joined VLMMR in 1991, where she is currently the firm’s Practice Manager. Born in the Caribbean island of Trinidad, she attended Trinizuela College where she earned a degree in business management in 1985.
Zahida came to the United States in 1987, and graduated from Monroe College in 1989 with an Associates Degree in computer science and accounting. After graduation from Monroe, and as a result of her stellar academic performance there, Ernst & Young recruited her on the recommendation of one of her professors. She worked at the “Big 5” accounting firm from September 1989 until April 1991.
She resides with her husband, Sandy, in Wingdale, New York.
