John L. A. Lyddane

 

John has defended technical and high exposure personal injury and property damage cases in the State and Federal courts of New York for over 50 years. He defends medical professionals and entities in malpractice cases, property owners and managers, attorneys, architects, engineers and product manufacturers in highly technical cases. He has defended over three hundred cases to dismissal or verdict over the course of his career, most of which went through jury trial. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1992.

John is committed to mentoring young litigators to assist them in developing practical skills and accelerating their professional development. He writes a bi-monthly column for the New York Law Journal about the practical aspects of medical malpractice defense. He also develops and teaches continuing legal education courses for practicing attorneys.
