Diane K. Kanca

 

(1955 – 2019)

Over the course of her 30-year career as a lawyer, Diane earned a well-deserved reputation as a powerful advocate on a wide range of matters including professional liability and malpractice, coverage, construction related matters and commercial and real estate litigation.

Diane began her career as a registered nurse and later become a senior partner at VLMMR.  She shared her extensive knowledge regarding professional liability and legal malpractice, complex case management, commercial litigation and medical-legal liability by frequently speaking at local bar association events and professional conferences.

Diane earned a BS degree from the University of Connecticut, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and her J.D. degree from Pace University Law School, where she was editor of the Pace Law Review.

Diane was born in Fairfield Connecticut and lived in Westchester County with her husband and their beloved dog, Coco.  Diane passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 27, 2019.
