Bill Morris is an associate attorney at VLMMc.  He practices primarily in the areas of professional liability defense, premises liability, labor law and automobile defense.  In those areas, he represents the interests of attorneys, architects, contractors, property owners and insurance companies.  Bill’s work includes all aspects of civil litigation from intake to trial.

His experiences have taken him from a small civil litigation firm on Long Island to McDonough Law, LLP – a highly respected liability defense firm – and finally to Vouté, Lohrfink, Magro & McAndrew, LLP.

Bill attended Boston University and double majored in history and political science.  He was selected as the recipient of a full merit scholarship for American history and graduated magna cum laude in 2005.

After college, Bill became the first member of his family to attend law school, graduating from Hofstra University School of Law in 2008.  His article, “Constitutional Solutions to the Problem of Diplomatic Crime and Immunity,” was selected for publication in the Hofstra Law Review (36 Hofstra L. Rev. 601) in 2007.

Bill was admitted to the New York Bar in 2009.  In 2011, he was admitted to the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit; and in 2010 to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Bill was born in White Plains – a half mile away from the firm’s office – and he grew up in Carmel, New York.
