Audrey D. Medd joins the firm as an Associate Attorney with Vouté, Lohrfink, Magro + McAndrew. Her practice areas include all aspects of insurance defense from medical malpractice to standard premises liability and her work involves all aspects of civil litigation from inception through trial.
Audrey’s prior experience has taken her from a prominent medical malpractice defense firm located in Stamford, CT defending health care professionals in both New York and Connecticut to her own law firm where she practiced on both sides of the “v” to a prominent Hudson Valley civil liability defense firm to ultimately – Vouté, Lohrfink, Magro + McAndrew.
Audrey is a Hudson Valley, New York native, having grown up in Putnam Valley, NY, the daughter of a distinguished college professor who taught in the medical field and successful art educator and graduated from Walter Panas High School in Shrub Oak, NY. Audrey is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she earned the “Excellence in Clinical Work” award and was a member of the Mock Trial Society and Moot Court Honor Society, as well as served as a Senator on the Student Bar Association and an Associate Justice on the Quinnipiac University School of Law Judicial Board.
Audrey has been practicing law since 2004. She is admitted to the Bar in the State of New York and the State of Connecticut, as well as the Federal Bars of the Southern and Northern District of New York and the District of Connecticut. Audrey has tried multiple cases to verdict in both New York and Connecticut and was even admitted pro hac vice upon request of a client to try a case in state Court located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Audrey lives in Danbury, CT with her husband, her two dogs, Moses and Dennis and her cat, Barley. When not in the courtroom, you can find Audrey practicing Yoga, chasing after her puppy, Dennis, playing around in her craft room or reading an enjoyable book.
